We recognise that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has an important role to play in safeguarding children.
Our staff work effectively with social care, the police, health services and other services to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. At all times, we ensure our approach is child-centred and considers what is in the best interests of the child and act accordingly.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is the Deputy Head teacher, Mrs L Killingbeck and she is supported to fulfil this role by the Deputy Safeguarding Lead, Mr Plaskitt, the Parent Support Worker, Mrs Begum and Mrs L Rule from the Governors. If you have any concerns or questions please contact any of them.
