TTRockstars Battle


Next week, there is going to be a competition between Year 3 and Year 4 classes.  Between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday, we are going to try and get the most points on TTRockstars and to win certificates and prizes.  Get on TTRockstars and earn as many coins as you can!

Mrs Sanson has come up with some art activities you can do at home.

All children in Rundell have their own email address.  They need to be checking their emails every couple of days,as new work, new ideas and help and advice is sent directly to them.

Purple Mash


All children at Greenfield have access to Purple Mash.  Your child's teacher will set work on here.  Check your child's home page for work that has been set.  Otherwise there are 1000s of fun resources for your child to explore on here, for all curriculum areas.

Stay Active


While school is closed, it is really important that you stay active - you need to get at least 60 minutes of exercise every day.  To help you do this, you can go to this website and exercise with Joe Wicks every morning at 9am.

The children use Letter Join in school to develop their handwriting skills.  The website has lots of fun activities for your child to do at home to build on the work at school.  Their login details are in their homework book.

The children use Reading Plus to develop their comprehension skills.  They should use this for at least 30 minutes, 5 times a week.  Your child needs to complete all ticked tasks before a new book will open.  The site code for Reading Plus is RPGREEN17.

You can access lots of free books online - the Book Trust has a website with vlogs etc. where you can listen to stories and complete activities.  Tameside Libraries allows you to download books to their 'Borrow Box' app.
The children have access to Classroom Secrets.  They have login details which have been sent home in their book bags.  There are a range of activities that they can complete offline.

All children have a login for TTRockstars to practise their times tables at home.  They should try to use it for at least 15 minutes every day.

Classroom Secrets Kids has a range of activities in the same format as we use in maths lessons, but with English activities too.



This half term we have been learning about light and sound.  Here are some websites where you can find out fun facts about how we see and how we hear.  What can you see now?  What can you hear?  How does it change?


Information Technology


All children have a login for Scratch - here, they can write computer programs, upload them to the site, and get support from other Scratch users.



Every child in Rundell has access to Yumu Music - part of Charanga Music we use in class - they have been sent logins through to their email address.  The login details for their email address is in their homework book.
