We have been exploring how to use a thermometer to test the temperature of water when it heated. We measured the temperature every 5 minutes and recorded the changes on graph.
In Art, we are looking at the different grades of pencil and exploring the different shades they create. We shone a light onto a tennis ball and looked at where it was lightest and where it was darkest. We then used our knowledge of pencil grades to create a picture of the ball, shading from light to dark.
In Music, we have been learning a new song called 'Let Your Spirit Fly'. We need to warm up our faces and voices before we start to sing - this means lots of funny faces being pulled and making silly sounds!
Our trip on a train to Broadbottom
We worked together to put up a tent, using the vocabulary we had learnt. It was raining so we had to work quickly!
We are reading 'Five go off to camp', so we went for a walk along a cycle track that used to be a railway.... we set up a tent, made smores on the barbeque andpretended to be trains going through the tunnel.
